Support Keeno: Defend Worker Rights

Although we encounter dozens of cases each year where workers report being exploited or harassed while working in Canada under the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP), very few workers come forward to take legal action to enforce their rights. Many are afraid they will lose their source of livelihood or be unfairly punished. 

Although the risks were many, Keeno decided to come forward and seek justice against the conditions he experienced while working on farm in the Okanagan. Since doing this, he has been barred from re-entering the SAWP. He has struggled to earn a living for himself and his family. 

RAMA has accompanied Keeno on his legal journey, and has set up a fundraiser to help support him and take the pressure off him while he takes this important step.
